The Tide Keeps Turning

A liberal MP member changes her mind after actually going to Iraq.

UK Guardian
Times Online

[British MP Ann Clwyd] also told MPs of visiting a United Nations camp housing Kurds, who had been given 24 hours to leave their homes. "That is the reality of Saddam's Iraq," she said. "When I hear people calling for more time, I say who is going to speak up for those victims?"

British support is building. 75% now support the US.

What liberals don't realize is that Bush has forced other nations to "show their cards" and reveal their true relationship with Iraq and the U.S. We now know the French and German are only fair-weather allies, both of which have financial and even military ties to Iraq, as do Russia and China. The U.N. is now known as a body that is useless and irrelevant, preferring to have another Adolf Hitler over true peace and security.

Once the war with Iraq is over, a lot of skeletons will be coming out of the closet, and these opposition coutries are going to be embarrassed. I have no doubt the U.S. military will simply take video cameras into Iraq's torture chambers, and start trotting out prohibited weapons Saddam wasn't supposed to have. Of course, anti-Bush zealots will jump up and down and scream and holler that all the evidence is manufactured. UNSCOM will be disgraced as a bunch of incompetent buffoons at best, outright appeasers and collaborators at worst.

This is going to be too much fun to watch.

Never let it be said I don't give the opposition their soapbox. In case anyone's interested, a listing of Anti-war websites from the UK Guardian.

Website Update
I've got it all laid out, now I need a place to put it. I've been looking at free website providers, and boy, are there a bundle of them. I've found a couple that I think have the features I want, so within a few days I hope to have it all running.

"Today's report confirms that, despite White House scare tactics, Social Security remains sound for decades to come.."

-? Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid (NV) upon hearing reports that the Social Security and Medicare Trust Funds will go bankrupt even earlier than predicted.
